Player Wagering System
Ranked games in ChainClash require every player to place a wager before the match begins. All wagers are pooled into a prize pot, the winner takes the majority, and the result also affects ELO. If you want risk-free matches, play Free Play. If you want money and rating on the line, play Ranked.
Requirements to Play Ranked With Wagers
To enter a ranked match, you must:
be logged in
have a connected wallet
have at least $0.25 USD (in SOL)
select a wager amount
The minimum wager is $0.25 USD. If you don’t meet those requirements, you can’t play ranked. Simple as that.
Wager Amounts
You can choose preset wager levels:
$0.25
$0.50
$1.00
$5.00
Wagers are selected in USD but actually processed in SOL lamports, converted at the current SOL price.
How the Wager Pool Works
every player puts in the chosen wager
all wagers form the total pot
winner receives 80% of the pot
platform keeps 20% as the house edge
Example with 4 players wagering $1 each:
total pot = $4
winner payout = $3.20
platform fee = $0.80
Lose the game → you lose your wager. Win the game → you profit and boost ELO.
When the Wager Is Taken
Your wager is only deducted when the match actually starts. If the match doesn’t start, you don’t pay.
ELO Connection
Wagers are tied to ranked competition, and ranked competition is tied to ELO.
winning a ranked match → ELO increases
losing a ranked match → ELO decreases
bigger upsets = bigger ELO swings
Free Play does not affect ELO and does not use wagers.
